George Corbett Motors customers will be assured to hear that Mazda was awarded the top two places in a recent reliability survey, where the quality and durability of Mazda vehicles were confirmed once again.
The TUV Report from Auto Bild, Europe’s biggest car magazine, analysed over 9 million inspections of 194 different models across 160 criteria, for both new and used cars. The Mazda 3 came in first place with almost no defects or faults, followed closely by the Mazda 2 with VW Golf, Ford Fusion and the Honda Jazz following respectively.
The outstanding result gives the Mazda brand the coveted “Golden Badge” award from Germany’s TUV Technical Inspection Agency for the first time.
Dealer Principal George Corbett highlights the importance of the results of the TUV Report when it comes to Waterford customers purchasing a used car.
“The TUV results are vital when it comes to purchasing a used car, as they give a clear picture of the quality and condition of vehicles of a certain age. This year’s report is further confirmation that the quality and reliability of Mazda is the best in the industry and gives our customers peace of mind when purchasing a car” explained George.
“The Mazda 3 is our best selling model in Ireland for both new and used cars, with customers choosing this model over competitors due to its Japanese engineering, faultless reliability and outstanding value for money.”
This year’s Golden Badge award follows Mazda’s reliability success in 2007 in the worlds largest ever study into car reliability, carried out by leading warranty specialists, Warranty Direct. The study looked at over 450,000 vehicles from 33 manufactures with Mazda rated number one with a failure rate of only 8.04% of vehicles aged between three and nine years old.
